(This is the picture of the Independence Monument in Lome City, Togo)Togo obtained their independence 10 years earlier than Malaysia (1947). But it is sad to see that they are still way behind us in terms of physical development. I thank god that Malaysia is blessed with what we have been enjoying now in all aspects of our life. There are a lot of potential however for Togo to develop but definitely they need to attract foreign direct investment to do so.

The Togolese people are friendly and they speaks French with very little English. Communication is quite a problem for us because none of us speaks French. One famous guy who became the icon for the youngsters and who has done proud for the country is none other than Emanualle Adebayor who plays for Arsenal in the English Premier League.
